Jordan Nassar’s art practice uses a variety of materials to explore concepts of heritage and homeland. Across multimedia installations that have included hand-embroidery, wood inlay and glass, Nassar celebrates Palestinian identity, diaspora and belonging.
Over the next four months, Jordan will split his time between Shangri La and his studio in Brooklyn, NY to create original work for a special exhibition to open at the museum in November 2022.
