AMIRAH SACKETT is an internationally acclaimed hip-hop dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She is the founder of the all-female, American Muslim trio, ‘We're Muslim, Don't Panic,” a troupe that believes in hip-hop’s power to inspire, empower and bring positive change. The Huffington Post recognized Sackett as one of the "17 Muslim American Women Who Made America Great In 2016.”
SUPER GROUPERS is a Honolulu-based hip-hop collective featuring Navid Najafi and Illis It, along with highly regarded beat maker Ohtoro. Najafi and Illis It have individually won three Na Hoku Hanohano awards, and the group’s album, Learn to Fly, was nominated for the Na Hoku Hanohano award for best hip-hop album in 2017. KEITH CROSS is a veteran hip-hop artist, singer-songwriter, educator and scholar. He teaches hip-hop lyricism to youth and the elderly, as a tool for enhancing mental and social well-being. Cross has a PhD from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education, specializing in Race, Inequality and Language in Education.
