Concert by the Sea
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design and PAʻI Foundation come together for Concert by the Sea, a one-night fundraising event for the people of Maui at Shangri La. Proceeds will be distributed through the PA'I Foundation's Kōkua Nā Hono a ʻo Piʻilani fund to support individuals and organizations impacted by the August fires on Maui.

Live musical performances by PA'I Artists-in-Residence Robert Uluwehi Cazimero and Kuana Torres Kahele
Hula by Hālau Nā Kamalei & Pua Ali’i ‘Ilima
With Special Guest Artist Hawaii Poet Laureate Brandy Nālani McDougall
Dinner curated and catered by Chef Ed Kenney of Mud Hen Water.
Fundraising tickets are available for $1000 per person on Eventbrite.

4.30 pm - Check in at KCC Parking Lot A
5.00 pm - Open museum. Drinks & pupus served on the Upper Lawn
6.00 pm - Dinner opens
6.30 pm - Evening's performances begin
8.00 pm - Shuttles return to KCC Parking Lot A
COST
Tickets are $1000 per person. There will be 7 seats per table. If you would like to reserve a table please indicate your group name when purchasing tickets.
EVENT ACCESS:
Shangri La will provide shuttle service from Kapi'olani Community College (KCC), parking lot A (see map). Please check-in promptly @ 4.30 pm as the shuttle will depart KCC @ 4.45 pm. Shuttles will return guests to KCC around 8.15 pm.
Please note that there is NO PARKING at Shangri La or in the surrounding neighborhood. Please contact Shangri La with any questions about access.
Children 8 and above are welcome.

Dinner curated and catered by Chef Ed Kenney and the team at Mud Hen Water.
DRESS CODE:
Aloha attire.
PROHIBITED ITEMS INCLUDE:
Large bags (All bags brought to Shangri La may be subject to inspection by Security. Storage for small bags is available).
Food and drink, selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, aerosol cans, mace or pepper spray, sharp items such as knives or screwdrivers, explosives, firearms.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited on site
