Join us as our Artist-in-Residence RobertFaridKarimi presents a special game-performance evening, activating the museum galleries with games and interactive experiences.
This is an interactive event featuring an open museum with special playful experiences throughout. A tour of Shangri La will not be offered during this event.

5.30 pm - Check in at KCC (Parking Lot A)
6.00 pm - #Playfullspace activated
Complimentary pūpūs & drinks by Honey Cafe will be available through out the evening on the Upper Lawn.

Please check in promptly @ 5:30 pm as the shuttle will depart KCC @ 5:45 pm. Shuttles will return guests to KCC around 8:45 pm.
Please note that there is no parking at Shangri La or in the surrounding neighborhood. No access will be granted to guests arriving at Shangri La directly (no walk-ons, Uber/Lyft/Taxi, or other vehicles).

Masks are optional but recommended.
Prohibited items include:
Large bags (storage for small bags is available at Shangri La). All bags brought to Shangri La may be subject to inspection by Security. Food and drink, selfie sticks, tripods, monopods, aerosol cans, mace or pepper spray, sharp items such as knives or screwdrivers, explosives, firearms. Smoking and vaping are prohibited on site.
Notice of Filming and Photography:
When you enter a Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.
By entering this event, you consent to have your image captured by official photographers and videographers. The resulting materials, including still photographs, video, and audio recordings may be used by Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design, without compensation, in news materials, promotional materials, on the website, and other properties.
Children 8 and above are welcome.
