Doris Duke Visionary Voices: Women, Creativity & Power
The Doris Duke Visionary Voices: Women, Creativity, and Power event presented a two-part panel discussion inviting women from of impact to the Honolulu community to Shangri La for an evening of conversation, inspiration and networking.
The first panel highlighted the women featured in HONOLULU Magazine’s March issue. The panel included Vera Zambonelli, Dr. Akiemi Glenn, Amy Hill, and Jalene Kanani Hitzeman, and was moderated by Kristin Remington, Associate Curator of User Experience. The discussion emphasized the significance of telling our own stories.
Keynote speaker, Olympic Gold Medalist and Founder of Moore Aloha, Carissa Moore, engaged in a compelling dialogue about her inspirational journey and moments of resilience, facilitated by Meredith Artley, Executive-in-Residence.
